West U’s popular Fathers & Flashlights event, which typically takes place in the fall, is canceled this year due to Covid-19. West U area families are encouraged to honor the spirit of the fun event by camping out at home on Nov. 7, when the campout would’ve been held. Event chairs Michelle and Doug Huth, Sami and Jud Morrison, and Christine and Owen Parker (pictured, from left, with their kids at last year’s event) are looking forward to seeing everyone next year.
