Offensive powerhouse
First Baptist Academy (FBA) finished the middle-school football season with a 6-0 record. The team competes in the Houston Junior Preparatory Conference (HJPC), but not all teams were able to play this season, so FBA played an independent schedule. The boys scored an average of 45 points each game, led by team captains Joseph Trickett, Jake Wilburn, and Cooper Chambers. FBA’s undefeated teammates are (top row, from left) Paul Hill, coach Ameer Omar, Jackson Bloodworth, Sam Nutt, Joseph Trickett, Jake Wilburn, Cooper Chambers, Cooper Murff, coach Joey Klapesky, Mac Barrow, Keegan Clark, coach Ben Johnson, and Joseph Berry; (bottom row, from left) Bryce Lueff, Will Newhouse, William Ganim, Alexander Ganim, Cooper Clarke, Jackson Barrow, and Jonathan Lackey.
