Join the Chinese Community Center for a free, virtual celebration of Lunar New Year, which officially takes place Friday. Enjoy a broadcast of cultural dances, musical performances, crafts, and food demonstrations.
Main Street Theater presents The Book of Magdalene
Main Street Theater is presenting the digital premier of The Book of Magdalene, a contemporary drama about finding the courage to move on. This is the first ever showing of this new work by playwright Caridad Svich, and it’s available to view online Feb. 11-21.
The Market at Sawyer Yards
On the second Saturday of each month, the artists of Sawyer Yards open up their studios to the public. Visitors can wander through the six repurposed warehouses and check out an extensive selection of painting, sculpture, jewelry, clothing and more. This might be a great spot to buy that last-minute Valentine’s Day gift!
The Ensemble Theater Presents I, Too, Am America
The Ensemble Theatre presents a video-on-demand showing of I, Too, Am America, a program that celebrates the contributions Black people have made to American culture. The show is a jazz-infused journey through historic movements of the African American experience, including the Montgomery Bus Boycott and other critical moments in the Civil Rights Movement.
