Eugenia Rincon, Sloane Thompson, and Victoria Macedo Oderich

Dancers Eugenia Rincon, Sloane Thompson, and Victoria Macedo Oderich (pictured, from left) each received top awards at the Dupree Dance competition. The girls are all members of the Memorial Dance Center emerald company and competed against hundreds of other dancers at the recent event held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel downtown. Eugenia and Sloane both received the Rhythmic Souls Tap Company Connect scholarship, and Sloane received a Dupree Dance scholarship. Eugenia and Victoria were also awarded the Dupree Dance All-Star award. After a long break from competition, the girls are thrilled to be back on stage with their teammates to compete in a variety of dance genres, including jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip hop.
