Off-campus tennis

Tennis players at Memorial Forest Club (pictured) trade time in the traditional health-fitness school class for practice time on the courts. These “off-campus health fitness” students receive special permission from the Spring Branch Independent School District to fulfill their required physical education credits in a more focused, non-school environment. Under the direction of tennis professional Katya Morozova, the student practices both before and after school to work on form, footwork, strategy, teamwork, and both singles and doubles matches. Many of the players actively participate in U.S. Tennis Association tournaments.
