Renaissance rendition
The award-winning Stratford Playhouse will present Something Rotten! May 1-8 under the direction of artistic director CeCe Prudhomme. The comedy is set in the Renaissance period and follows two brothers who struggle to find success in the theatrical world as they compete against the popularity of William Shakespeare. The Stratford Playhouse is currently under construction and is scheduled to reopen in 2022; performances of Something Rotten will take place at Northbrook High School.
