Food-drive success

Boy Scout Troop 505, sponsored by St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, recently hosted its first food drive benefiting Christian Community Service Center. The Scouts packed the CCSC truck and several cars with donations collected from the SVdP school families, parishioners, and community members. This food helps CCSC serve the growing number of neighbors that depend on them each week for groceries due to medical illness, job loss, homelessness, or other emergencies.
