MS 150

Although the Texas MS 150 ride was cancelled due to stormy weather, cyclists Joy McCormack, Jerry Meyerson, Ellen Yarrell, Joe Martin, Don McCormack, Rita Joubran, Nabil Joubran, and Greg Marcarelli met for lunch that day.

Cyclists were psyched for the 2021 Texas MS 150 ride, which was to take place in person with several start locations and routes. The annual ride, which benefits the National MS Society, was cancelled last year due to Covid. This group of riders, all of whom have been participating for the last decade or three, participate on different teams but always meet up during the lunch portion of the MS 150 and were looking forward to their reunion. Unfortunately, the weekend’s weather ended up forcing organizers to cancel the event due to unsafe road conditions. Although they had to skip out on the ride, these cyclists met for lunch to catch up. Pictured, at Buffalo Grille, are (from left) Joy McCormack, Jerry Meyerson, Ellen Yarrell, Joe Martin, Don McCormack, Rita Joubran, Nabil Joubran, and Greg Marcarelli. Together, these friends have raised over $2 million over the years. See bikeMS.org.
