The AFA Summer Music Festival is returning to downtown this summer. It has been part of the community for over 25 years. Students, including Claire Schwanauer (pictured), a sophomore at St. John's School, participate in intensive music-making experiences during the months of June and July. AFA serves more than 2,000 students every year and presents dozens of free performances and outreach concerts throughout the greater Houston area. See afatexas.org.
