FLY Dance Company presents The Gentlemen of Hip Hop
FLY Dance Company comes to the Miller Outdoor Theatre on Friday night. This dance crew incorporates elements of hip-hop and classical dance to produce a unique fusion of street dance. Their performance at Miller Outdoor Theatre is free and open to the public.

Friday Night Music at Betsy's
This Friday, enjoy a night with family and friends outside at Betsy’s listening to the Outliers. Purchase dinner and drinks at Betsy’s and enjoy the show. This event is free and open to the public.

Comicpalooza
Comicpalooza comes to Houston with a line-up of celebrity guests, comics, and authors. Fans will be immersed in pop-culture festivities, exhibits, and special attractions. The event runs all day Saturday and Sunday at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Tickets start at $52.

Dog Days of Summer
Children’s Museum Houston is hosting the Dogs Days of Summer on Saturday. Special events include visiting with trained therapy dogs, taking an insta-worthy picture at the 12-foot dog pinata installation, and making a dog ear crown. These are included in the price of admission ($12) and the museum is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Community Music Center of Houston Presents: Family Funk Festival
The Family Funk Festival at the Miller Outdoor Theatre is a celebration of popular music, featuring funk music from the 70s to present. This event on Saturday night is free and open to the public. It will also be livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook.

Young Artist Showcase
On Sunday evening at Evelyn’s Park, come see talented musicians-in-the-making perform live. This event is free and open to the public. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at Betsy’s.
