The inaugural Spirit of Fall Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Gordy & Sons Outfitters benefited The Children’s Assessment Center. Held at the Greater Houston Sports Club, the event included friendly competition on a challenging 12-station course. The tournament kicked off with four-person teams participating in a round of team flurries and a welcome by The CAC’s executive director Kerry McCracken. The event concluded with a program that included guest speaker Teresa Helm, a sexual abuse survivor. The event raised funds to support The CAC’s prevention training, forensic interviews, family advocacy, medical services, and mental-health services. “Team Wells,” (pictured, from left) George Ball, John Eddy Williams, Jeff Bagwell, and Ken Wells, won first place in the tournament.
