Fashion and veggies
The Fashion in the Fields Brunch & Fashion Show, presented by Neiman Marcus and chairs Dr. Sippi and Ajay Khurana at Recipe for Success Foundation’s Hope Farms, featured jewelry and accessory designer Lele Sadoughi. The UnitedHealth Foundation Gathering Barn was transformed into a fall-themed fashion experience with a runway. Emcee Miya Shay kicked off the Art of Fashion, which featured a parade of sponsors’ children followed by pros modeling fall fashions. The event raised $185,000 to benefit the foundation. Founder and CEO Gracie Cavnar announced “Delivering Hope to Sunnyside,” Recipe for Success Foundation’s new partnership with Kids’ Meals to feed Hope Farms-grown produce to 132 families in the surrounding neighborhood. Her goal is to raise $80,000 to deliver weekly vegetables to each family for a year. As the event concluded, Hope Farm’s new baby geese, Pat and Reese, came out to greet guests.
