Sam, age 12

Hi, neighbors! My name is Sam. I am a Golden Retriever named after the former quarterback at Oklahoma many years ago. I am 12 and will be the first teenager in my house in a few short weeks (watch out, Mom and Dad)! I was born in Alabama outside of Birmingham, but now reside on Sunset Boulevard with my family and two siblings, Alex and Anna Katherine. I am probably one of the largest Golden Retrievers in the ’hood, weighing in at over 100 pounds. Lots of love and fur in those pounds! While my siblings are at school, I’m on neighborhood watch, barking at all the passersby on my street and on the occasional walk, when the temperature is just right. I prefer 70s, sunshine, and low humidity! The rest of my days are spent napping and on road trips to Galveston with my other favorite humans and fur friends, the McConn family. They take wonderful care of me when my family is away.
