Snickers, age 12

Hiya! My name is Snickers, and I am a 12-year-old Schnoodle – that’s a Schnauzer/Poodle mix. I love to go on walks, but mainly so I can sniff everything. There are lots of smells in our neighborhood, and I need to know about all of them. I love to lay in the sun in our dining room and relax. I’m pretty sweet to most people and other animals. We have two cats and I like them, and my sister Kyle has a dog that I like too. Some people say I am “scared” of thunder and fireworks and “hide in the shower.” I don’t know why no one else takes the precautions I do, but I do a great job of protecting my family! Lots of mail carriers and package delivery people come to our door, so I have to bark loudly at those people to scare them away.
