Mothers and daughters
Kim Cooper, Elizabeth Cooper, Anna Claire Hankamer, Susan Litts, Reagan Litts, and Katherine Edmonds (pictured, from left) celebrated the 30-year anniversary of the Bayou City Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. (NCL). The festive event was held at the Houston Polo Club and celebrated the mother-daughter volunteer organization’s 30 years of community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences. Chartered in 1992, Bayou City currently supports 19 philanthropies in and around Houston addressing education, literacy, the arts, hunger, special needs, military support, environmental conservation, health, poverty, and youth services. Special guest speaker Beth Harp, CEO of Kids' Meals Houston and former NCL member, spoke about the importance of the partnership between Kids’ Meals and NCL Bayou City. The mothers and daughters also enjoyed the polo match, traditional stomping of the divots, and lunch to celebrate the occasion.
