Summer reading

Need a great summer read? Check out this grouping of Summer Reading lists to find your next fabulous book.

One of my favorite things about summer is browsing all of the summer reading lists. The term “summer reading list” can meaning a number of things. Some lists focus on beach reads, while others include a wide variety of titles from many genres. Some choose books already out in the world while others focus on titles releasing in the summer, and often lists are a combination of the two. I include below some of my favorite lists for summer 2022.

My 2022 Summer Reading List is different than in years past – I decided to recommend books that are already published as well as some that will be coming out during the summer months.

Whether you are heading out on vacation, hanging out at your local pool or just enjoying a staycation, check out one or more of these lists to find a book to bring with you:

Thoughts from a Page Summer 2022 Reading List  -  I divided my summer list into six categories and selected my favorites from the past year or so as well as some fabulous upcoming releases that will provide great summer entertainment.

Kelly Hook’s Summer Books - Kelly Hooker of @kellyhook.readsbooks shared a guide that contains tons of great recommendations. Most of the books are already out, but a few will publish in the summer.

Modern Mrs. Darcy’s 2022 Summer Reading Guide - She has a lot of books that I have read and loved on her 2022 list.

Southern Living’s Beach Reads Perfect for Summer 2022 by Southern Living - Another great list with books that are already out and some that will be publishing as summer progresses.

CBS News’s Best Summer Beach Reads for 2022 - This list focuses on books most people will be familiar with already, but the titles do make entertaining summer reads.

I hope you enjoyed reviewing these reading lists and feel free to comment below with the summer reading lists that you find and enjoy. Happy reading!
