Preparing for the 20th annual Mint Julep
Kevin Pope, Matthew Janak, Tony Bravo, Jay Jeanes, Cyndy Garza Roberts and Chree Boydstun enjoyed a festive afternoon at the River Oaks home of Richard Werner and his partner Tony Bravo to kick off the 20th annual Mint Julep event benefitting Legacy Community Health Services. The Sunday-afternoon event was full of merriment, singing, and dancing to celebrate the first in-person cabaret show in more than two years. Legacy’s chief executive officer Bobby Hilliard and chief development officer Chree Boydstun greeted guests at the door who were then treated to cocktails and a buffet. Guests all looked forward to this year’s event, An Afternoon at Moulin Rouge, honoring retired Legacy chief executive Katy Caldwell and longtime Legacy supporters Domenic Cusano and Felicia aka Scarlett St. John. The legendary Houston LGBTQ event and Legacy’s signature summer show, Mint Julep, entertained guests with an afternoon of big hair, outrageous outfits, and fabulous performances.
