Rebuilding Houston’s homes
Caroline Blakely, Robert Mosbacher Jr., Christine Holland, Gary and Grace Olander, and Kevin and Anne Rafferty celebrated the 40th anniversary of Rebuilding Together Houston. The reception, held at The Grove at Discovery Green, honored the local nonprofit that provides free home repairs to low-income homeowners. Rebuilding Together Houston CEO Christine Holland presented the organization’s founder, Robert Mosbacher Jr., with a painting by Houston artist Lynn Ennis that depicts one of the first houses repaired by the organization in 1985, which Mosbacher helped repair as a volunteer. Rebuilding Together Houston has repaired almost 15,000 homes and is currently focused on revitalizing neighborhoods in Houston’s East End.
