Enjoy one last summer hurrah at Children’s Museum Houston with interactive scientific activities all day Friday.

DACAMERA’s SUMMERJAZZ 2022
DACAMERA’s summer festival celebrates jazz with multiple concerts downtown this weekend. The festival kicks off with the Jalen Baker Quartet, a free concert at Market Square Park, Friday at 6 p.m. There will also be a Latin Jazz Dance Party with Pedrito Martinez Group at Market Square Park on Saturday at 9 p.m. Ticketed concerts range from $37.50-$67.50. 35th Annual AIA Sandcastle Competition
Visit Galveston and prepare to be awestruck by creative sandcastles at the AIA Sandcastle Competition, a fundraising event for AIA Houston and ArCH Foundation. The public is encouraged to begin starting at 9 a.m. to watch the teams meticulously build their innovative sandcastles. The public votes on their favorites from 1-3:30 p.m.

Flea By Night
Browse a range of handmade, local goods at Discovery Green’s evening flea market, Flea By Night, Saturday, 6-10 p.m.

Buffalo Bayou’s Bee Movie and Market
Buffalo Bayou is buzzing, especially on Saturday night for the Bee Movie and Market. Celebrate National Honeybee Day with free festivities including bee-friendly crafts for kids, an observatory beehive, a pop-up bee-inspired market, a DJ, and a screening of Bee Movie (PG). The buzzy fun begins at 6 p.m.

Classic Albums Live Performs The Beatles “Let It Be”
Beatles fans will love experiencing the beloved "Let It Be" album at Miller Outdoor Theatre, Saturday 8:15 p.m. Classic Albums Live recreates the full, iconic album.
