Children’s Art Project for MD Anderson
Charlye Egbo, Paige Fertitta, and Shakira Wardally (pictured, from left) celebrated the holiday season at the annual Children’s Art Project trunk show benefiting the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. The show featured merchandise with artwork inspired by children treated at MD Anderson’s Children’s Cancer Hospital. Unique, child-designed items included Radko ornaments, ties, scarves, and custom holiday cards. Fertitta has hosted the holiday trunk show in her home for 16 years, with sales benefiting patient programs like camps, on-campus school, and other support services. In addition to the private shopping experience, guests enjoyed lunch and an array of desserts as they mingled and wandered through tables of merchandise while listening to seasonal music and viewing festive holiday lights.
