Chewie, age 2.5

Hello. I’m Chewie. My parents thought the name was perfect because I look just like the famous Star Wars sidekick. Little did they know that I would take the name literally. I just love the satisfying crunch of a wooden pencil. I’m a very springy Springerdoodle – even an 8-foot chain-link fence was easy for me to jump over in my younger days. I get away with a lot owing to my mischievous charm and flirty wink. I love to use my puppy-dog eyes to get morsels of human food, and even won my way into sleeping upstairs. You might see me on the Boulevard on my morning walks. I’m the chocolate-colored doodle who crouches like she is about to pounce on her next meal when other dogs are near. I don’t know what it is about my low, menacing crouch and jump that’s so scary. I swear that I’m just trying to play. Pounce you soon.
