Condit Girls on the Run
A motivated trailblazing team of girls and coaches from Condit Elementary School ran the Girls on the Run 5K. Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a large nationwide organization that aims to focus on the whole girl. The Condit girl team consisted of 15 motivated students. Their volunteer coaches held afterschool practices twice a week for three months, engaging the girls in running laps to build stamina, as well as other dynamic interactive activities including community service, team-building, and other empowering activities. On race day, the girls jetted across the finish line, returning with medals, big smiles, and wonderful friendships.
