Duran Duran in Concert
Duran Duran will be performing live this Friday at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in the Woodlands. Known for their unforgettable 14 hits in the top 10 in the UK, and 21 hits in the US Top 100, Duran Duran’s performance is not one you’d want to miss out on. The performance will begin at 7 p.m., and tickets start at $29.95.
Houston SaberCats vs. Old Glory DC
Cheer on Houston’s professional rugby team, the SaberCats, as they battle Old Glory DC this Friday 9th, at SaberCats Stadium! The game will begin at 8 p.m., and tickets start at $15 per person.
Restore at Miller Outdoor Theatre
Houston Contemporary Dance Company’s Restore will be presented Friday at the Miller Outdoor Theatre. Restore features choreography by McKinley Willis, Peter Chu, Alexander Anderson, and Kia Smith. The performance will begin at 8:30 p.m. and is free to attend. Don’t forget to bring something to sit on and a favorite snack to eat while watching the performance.
Party on the Patio Concert Series
Join the City of West U as it hosts its Party on the Patio Concert Series! Bring something comfortable to sit on along with your favorite snacks or money to purchase your favorites on-site from Jami’s Fine Foods. This weekend, enjoy a performance by Staci and The Big Blue, a group of five Blues, Jazz, and Rock musicians. Admission is free to West U residents. Concerts continue through June 23.
Dog Days Pool Pawty
Little Woodrow's EaDo invites you and your puppy for a pawty! Furry friends will enjoy an off-leash playing area along with complimentary treats and toys. The event is for individuals 21+ and kicks off at noon on Saturday.
Saint Arnold’s 29th Anniversary Party
Saint Arnold Brewing Company invites you to celebrate their 29 years of brewing in Houston! The event is open to all and is free to attend. The celebration will take place Saturday, June 10th, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Saint Arnold’s Beer Garden & Restaurant. Houston vs. LAFC
Come out and support the Houston Dynamo FC as they take on Los Angeles FC this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The game will take place at the home of the Houston Dynamo at the Shell Energy Stadium. Tickets start at $30 per person.
Loveletter and Radio Rewrite at the Miller Outdoor Theatre
Miller Outdoor Theatre presents Loveletter and Radio Rewrite, a musical production produced by Aperio, Music of the Americas. The concert will feature a live orchestral performance of DJ Sun’s latest release, Loveletter. So bring a blanket, a friend, and snacks as you sit back and enjoy this free event Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
Galveston Family Beach Challenge
Gather the fam and head over to Galveston’s Stewart Beach this Sunday, starting at 11 a.m., for their annual Galveston Family Beach Challenge. The challenge includes 14 stations where families and friends get to battle against other groups for up to $2,000 prizes! The event is free of charge; however, registration is required ahead of time.
Power Fest 2023
Celebrate Latin diversity this Sunday at Buffalo Bayou Water Works. The event will feature performances from many regions in the Americas, highlighting the richness of rhythms that reflect Latin America. The event will begin at 1 p.m. and is $20 per person.
NY/NJ Gotham FC at Houston Dash
Watch as Houston Dash battles NY/NJ Gotham this Sunday at 6 p.m. The game will take place at Shell Energy Stadium, home of the Houston Dash. Tickets start at $10 per person.
The Immanuel and Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival
Featuring young professional musicians, the Immanuel and Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival showcases individuals in an intensive three-week orchestral fellowship program where they develop skills in orchestral, chamber music, and solo performance. Hosted by the University of Houston, the festival kicked off June 6 and continues through the 24th. This weekend's performances require tickets, except for Sunday’s performance, and will include French Classical, Festival Orchestra, and more.
Barnstorm Dance Fest 2023
Dance Source Houston presents Barnstorm Dance Fest 2023, a week-long dance festival taking place from June 6th -June 10th at Midtown Arts & Theatre Center Houston. The festival will feature a variety of dance genres and all sorts of performances, including live dances and short films created by dancemakers from across the country. Single program tickets are sold for $25, and three program passes are sold for $70.
