Top honors for seniors
Two 12th graders at The Village School were recognized as national merit semifinalists through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Ava Greer and Angela Pierce are among the 16,000 high school seniors nationwide who scored in the top one percent of the preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying (PSAT/NMSQT) test and will have the opportunity to advance in the competition for merit scholarship awards. After graduation from The Village School, Ava hopes to pursue higher education in video-game design, marketing, or chemistry, and Angela plans to study biochemistry on a pre-med track.
