Awty Celebrates the Arts

On Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, the Awty International School celebrated annual Fine Arts Day. Awty showcased its unwavering commitment to fostering creativity and artistic expression among its students with the celebration of visual, musical, and creative arts. The day was nothing short of spectacular, bringing together the entire school community to celebrate the power of the arts.

The event unfolded as a day-long celebration of performances, interactive experiences, and fine-arts-themed free dress, allowing students of all ages to express their artistic inspirations.The halls of Awty were awash with a vibrant sea of colorful T-shirts, showcasing the students' appreciation and passion for the arts. These T-shirts were not only a fashion statement but also a visual testament to the importance of the arts in the lives of Awty students.

Secondary students took center stage throughout the day, and they did not disappoint! Their spectacular performances, poetry readings, and art displays left the audience in awe. From exquisite musical performances to emotionally charged spoken word poetry, Awty's students demonstrated the depth of their artistic talents. The art displays were a visual treat, showcasing a wide range of styles and techniques, reflecting the rich diversity of the school's student body.

The interactive art exhibit was also a big hit, providing students with a unique opportunity to dive into the realm of creativity, allowing them to explore their artistic potential in an engaging and hands-on manner. The exhibit encouraged IB Art students to think outside the box and experiment with various art forms, ultimately bolstering their confidence in their creative abilities.
