George, age 3

Hi, I’m George. I’d like to start off by apologizing if I’ve jumped up on you during one of my backyard escapes, or stolen your stuffed animal from your stroller. I am really very friendly, but my manners are occasionally lacking. I love strolling the neighborhood sniffing everything I can; it takes me quite a while to mosey around the block. I’m pretty chill, lazing around all day, until I see you, then all I want is to be petted and never have you leave me. In the summer, or just after I have been groomed, I love nothing more than running outside, dropping onto the first step of the pool (I am not really a swimmer), and returning to the back door dripping wet – this Houston heat is no joke, you know. But when it’s chilly out, you can find me snoozing on the back patio in the sun.
