Honoring her mother’s memory

Samantha Lavine (pictured), daughter of Benjamin and the late Rachel Lavine, and sister of Alexander and Andrew Lavine, completed the mitzvah project for her Bat Mitzvah by collecting and donating toiletries to Brookdale Senior Living, her mother’s former place of work. Samantha’s efforts will bring comfort to seniors who are recovering at the facility and will honor her mother’s memory. Before passing away suddenly from a rare disease in 2021, Rachel Lavine was a physical therapist with a 23-year career who loved working with her patients.
