New officers for the garden club

The Memorial Drive Garden Club’s spring lunch was held at the home of Vicky Beitler, where the members were treated to a poolside meal. Although outgoing president Kristi Barnhill was unable to attend in person, she joined the ladies via Zoom to thank her board and club members for a great year and opened a thank-you gift from the club. New members were installed into their positions by Sue Shelfman, who amused the group using cooking utensils to describe each position. Tony Huffman delighted everyone with a demonstration of using food as centerpieces, starting with a fantastic cabbage centerpiece.
