Celebrating the Fourth
Neighbors decked out in red, white, and blue and enjoyed the annual Bellaire Celebration of Independence Parade and Festival. Paradegoers Abigail Ward, Elliot Ward, Jennifer Taylor, Ilsa Erickson, and Bobby Erickson (pictured, from left) were among the crowd celebrating our nation’s independence with a high-energy parade down S. Rice and a special children’s bike parade. Immediately following the parade was the festival at Great Lawn and Loftin Park in Bellaire Town Square with plenty of food and live music.
At the annual Memorial Villages Independence Day Parade, the Rich family (pictured) celebrated our nation’s independence by riding in the parade that started in front of Memorial Church of Christ, traveled down Piney Point Road, and ended in front of Ecclesia. Immediately before the start of the parade, energetic neighbors participated in the Memorial Villages Police Department fun run and bike ride.
And at the annual West U Independence Day Bike Parade & Pool Party, Paradegoers Steven, Rachel, Alexandra, and Isabella Shaffer (pictured) were among the crowd celebrating our nation’s independence with a high-energy parade of decorated bicycles, tricycles, and wagons, beginning in front of West U Elementary. Immediately following the parade were festivities at Colonial Park Pool with plenty of games, food, and family fun.
