A downtown wedding
Happy couple Clay Lindberg and Shelby Edmoundson (pictured) were married at the Julia Ideson Library in downtown Houston, which is the city’s oldest library. Clay, son of Robin and Charles Lindberg, grew up in Bellaire, graduated from Second Baptist School and University of Central Arkansas, and is now a firefighter with the Houston Fire Department and the Bellaire Fire Department. Shelby, daughter of Lisa and Larry Edmoundson, graduated from Texas A&M University and now works in marketing for KPMG. Clay proposed to Shelby at The Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina while surrounded by both families. The night before the wedding, the Lindbergs hosted a dinner at King Ranch Texas Kitchen. Accompanied by a large wedding party, including several Houston firefighters, the couple tied the knot and then danced the night away before honeymooning in Costa Rica.
