Bellaire High School (BHS) graduate and Texas A&M freshman Lucas Dolibois (pictured, center) beat the odds in the ESPN College GameDay “Kicking is Easy” challenge. After being randomly selected from the crowd of students assembled in the audience for the ESPN broadcast, Lucas attempted, but missed, the 33-yard field goal kick. The miss cost him the $25,000 prize. But students began chanting “one more time!” and show host Pat McAfee (pictured, on right, with comedian and guest host Shane Gillis, on left) not only obliged their request but doubled the prize money for a second attempt. This time, Lucas drilled the kick squarely through the uprights and was awarded $50,000. “When Pat gave me the second try and I kicked the ball, I knew off of my foot that it was good,” Lucas said. “It’s a moment I will never forget.”
