Kimberlyn Clarkson, Marianne Fanning, Donna Hemmi, Ozzie Bauer, Callie and Debbie Bauer, Robert Bauer, Alicia Cantu and Lauren Herring were among the crowd at the Houston Theater District’s Lyric Market food hall for the 2024 Iron Bartender competition. Benefiting the Periwinkle Foundation, the annual contest pits local bartenders against one another to earn the title of Iron Bartender. Chaired by Sean Beck, the annual event brought together the best bartenders from favorite locales to raise funds for the Periwinkle Foundation’s programming for children and teens facing cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, who are receiving treatment at Texas Children’s Hospital. At the end of the evening, Drew Jerdan of Bad News Bar was named 2024 Iron Bartender Champion, and Lynzie Holland of Johnny’s Gold Brick received the People’s Choice Award.
