Hazel, age 7

My name is Hazel. Some people think Pit Bulls are mean, but everyone says I’m really sweet. I’m a little shy and can get scared, but I love the humans that show me kindness. I love to give hugs and kisses and most of all to snuggle. I don’t have a lot of fur, so to stay warm, I like to get under covers or wear PJs – in either case, I love cuddling up to my humans. My mom says I’m the smartest girl in the world. I can get out of my kennel, open doors, and get into almost any container of food – but I make sure to do it when no one is looking! Sometimes I’m so creative that Mom isn’t even mad, just impressed. Just last week while I was at my Grammy’s house, I opened the bedroom door to snuggle with my Pawpaw. He woke up to me giving him kisses!
