Annunciation Orthodox School’s varsity field hockey team had one of its most successful seasons this fall. With strong leadership in the eighth graders, the girls closed out the regular season with an undefeated 6-0 league record. In the HJPC conference playoffs, they played with heart in a championship game against St. John’s School, finishing second in a tie-breaking overtime. The team came together from the beginning to claim several hard-earned victories, drawing energy and focus from coach Amit Shah’s consistent positivity.
