Happy Friday! It's shaping up to be a great weekend: from the first day of Houston Restaurant Weeks today, to White Linen Night in The Heights tomorrow, free Shakespeare at Miller Outdoor, and so much more!

The leads of Houston Shakespeare Festival's As You Like It, showing this Friday at 8:15 p.m. Come early for 'Bard Talk' to learn more about the world of Shakespeare and the history behind the play.

Houston Shakespeare Festival, put on by the University of Houston’s School Theatre & Dance, uses Shakespeare’s works to draw together our diverse community and explore humanity. This year, the shows alternate between Shakespeare's As You Like It and Henry V. Performances start at 8:15 p.m., but come at 7:45 for "Bard Talk" to explore Shakespeare’s work, his characters, history, and background of the evening’s performance.
Today, see the play As You Like It, followed by Henry V on Saturday.

Today kicks off Houston Restaurant Weeks! From August 1 to September 1, you can get amazing deals at nearly 400 of Houston's most incredible restaurants with the specially priced HRW menu. Restaurants donate a portion of these sales to the Houston Food Bank. HRW is the largest annual fundraiser for the Houston Food Bank, which provides three meals to those in need for every dollar donated. Head to their website to see the participating restaurants.
