Welcoming new Chargers

Pin Oak Middle School (POMS) eighth graders Diane Flores, Zarina Godiwalla, Lila Cooley, and Hannah Rizvi (pictured, from left) represented the National Junior Honor Society at this summer’s Charger Camp. The eighth-grade leaders welcomed the incoming class of POMS sixth graders and showed them the ropes of middle school. At Charger Camp, new students got a sneak peek of their new school and had the opportunity to tour the campus, pick up uniforms, and get ready for a great year of all things POMS. They even learned greetings in six different languages.
