Kellie Geitner and Joel Corrion with Chloe and Kamisha Mickey, Iraida Brown with Panda, and Angela Hernandez joined more than 680 other animal lovers at The Post Oak Hotel for the Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) Celebrity Paws Gala. The Studio 39-themed event, highlighting the 39th year of the gala, was full of disco-inspired white, black, gold, and silver décor and glam attire including a life-size silver mirror horse (circa 1977). Gala co-chairs Kamisha Mickey and Angela Hernandez, along with honorary chairs Ben Ackerley and Daphne and Steve Savva, led the successful event that raised more than $1 million for shelter animals. Andy Cerota, who was the 2024 Celebrity Pet Champion of the Year winner, led the evening as emcee and crowned Iraida Brown as the 2025 champion.
