14th Annual Wine and Tapas Gala

The Board of Directors of PATRONS for Bellaire Parks invite you to join us at the 14th Annual Wine and Tapas “Masquerade” Gala, Saturday, April 27, 2024. This year’s Masquerade theme offers a delightful escape from the ordinary, inviting guests to immerse themselves in a world of elegance, mystery, and enchantment. Join for an evening of music and dancing, dinner and drinks, and a great auction, all in the interest of continued improvements to neighborhood parks and green spaces for the community’s continued use and enjoyment.

Dr. Johnnie and the Honorable Winfred Frazier are the Gala's Honorees, recognized for their history of dedicated support of Bellaire Parks and green space. Johnnie and Win have been longtime supporters of PATRONS, Evelyn’s Park Conservancy, and the Nature Discovery Center with a long track record of volunteerism and support of our neighborhood parks.

Event highlights include: gourmet tapas and wine, live music and dancing, cork pull and liquor ring toss, a paddles-up style fundraiser, with all proceeds supporting the Nature Discovery Center’s Enchanted Woods Project which will transform the park with the addition of walking bridges, water features, an educational treehouse classroom, and enhancements to the natural habitats, blending nature, education, and fantasy into a cohesive, experience.
