2015 American Heart Association's Love is in the Air Heart Ball
Please join the American Heart Association for the most anticipated yearly event, the 2015 Houston Heart Ball presented by The Friedkin Group and Lexus. This year's theme is “Love is in the Air” and this elegant occasion will gather business leaders, professionals, philanthropists, and other community members to raise funds, build passion and celebrate the commitment to fight heart disease and stroke. The annual black tie event will consist of cocktails, dinner, dancing, live music provided by Sauce, The Band and a live auction.
Heart disease and stroke — the nation’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers — and all other cardiovascular diseases, claim more than 787,000 American lives a year. The American Heart Association's fundraising goal is $1.5 million for the 2015 Houston Heart Ball. Research funded by the American Heart Association has yielded or contributed to many important innovations such as CPR, life-extending drugs (including clot-busters), pacemakers, bypass surgery, the heart-lung machine and surgical techniques to repair heart defects.
