Performing Arts Houston hosts the 5th annual Mariachi Festival, celebrating the creativity and enduring legacy of Mariachi music and Hispanic culture. The popular festival brings some of the biggest names in the genre to Houston, including Mariachi Mariposas, Mariachi 7 Leguas, and others from Houston and Mexico.

Lineup
Day 1: Oscar De La Rosa | Friday, August 23 – De La Rosa will be joined in an opening night performance by Mariachi 7 Leguas, Rio Grande Valley Ballet Folklórico, and Carolina Rodriguez. 7pm.
Day 2: Mariachi Mariposas | Saturday, August 24 – Headliners Mariachi Mariposas perform in a night that also showcases University of Houston Mariachi Pumas, Ballet Folklórico South Texas College, Winners of the 2024 National Youth Mariachi Vocalist Competition, and Yasmine Duenes. Business casual attire encouraged. 7pm.
Day 3: Mariachi Imperial de America | Saturday, August 24 – México en Danzas Grupo Folklórico, Eduardo Antonio Treviño, and Houston Area All-Star Mariachi Group set the stage leading up to headlining act, Mariachi Imperial de America. Traditional Mexican dresses and guayaberas encouraged. 3pm.
