The Garden Club of Houston is pleased to announce its 75th Annual Bulb and Plant Mart, Oct. 12-14, 2017 at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church. The Mart will open Thurs., Oct 12, 4:30-7 p.m. for Early Bird Shopping with a Party on the Patio featuring Live Music and Lite Bites (Admission $20). Nearby stores will be offering discounts to Bulb Mart shoppers. Sales continue Friday, Oct. 13, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Oct. 14, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. All sales are tax-exempt. Admission and parking are free.
The Mart offers more than 500,000 top-quality bulbs from domestic and international suppliers. Experienced as well as beginning gardeners will find an expanded collection of hard-to-find and unusual Crinums, Daylilies, Gingers, perennials, trees, shrubs, vines, herbs and citrus plants, including exclusive offerings from the gardens of GCH members grown specifically for the Mart.
