The 85th Azalea Trail will herald the beginning of spring! Join March 6-8, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. The Trail kicks off with the annual ribbon cutting at the Lazy Lane entrance of Bayou Bend on Friday, March 1, 0:30 a.m. Gary Tinterow, Director of MFAH, will be honored at this year’s ribbon cutting ceremony.

Tickets will give admission to six locations within the River Oaks neighborhood, including four private homes and gardens, Bayou Bend and Rienzi. A seventh free location is the River Oaks Garden Club Forum of Civics where free advice from “Ask the Experts” can be enjoyed each day. Also at the Forum of Civics, there will be free floral demonstrations by ROGC members open to the public Friday, March 6 at 12 p.m., Saturday, March 7 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Sunday, March 8 at 12 p.m.

Plan to park at the Forum of Civics building or at Bayou Bend Gardens. A free bus provides easy access to all 6 locations of homes, gardens and house museums as well as to the Forum of Civics Building.
