9th Annual Come to the Table

Several of Houston’s award-winning chefs will orchestrate a unique culinary experience to take place in the very same kitchen and dining room that serves hundreds of homeless men and women each day. The Beacon served thousands of homeless individuals last year and this annual event helps them continue their mission of providing essential and next-step services to restore hope and help end homelessness in Houston.

The Garden Party Reception begins at 6 p.m. in Nancy's Garden, next to The Beacon, and Come to the Table Seated Dinner begins at 7 p.m. in the Day Center 

Event co-chairs are Chinhui Juhn and Eddie Allen. 

Dinner chefs: Kevin Hart from Harold’s; Manabu “Hori” Horiuchi from Kata Robata; Brandi Key from Alice Blue; Ryan Lachaine from Riel; Bobby Matos from State of Grace/La Lucha/Superica; Hugo Ortega from Hugo’s/Backstreet Cafe/Caracol/Xochi; Ruben Ortega from Hugo’s/Backstreet Cafe/Caracol/Xochi; Mike Puccio from The Beacon; Luis Roger from BCN; Claire Smith from Alice Blue
