Aces and Knaves

Aces and Knaves, a new film about the most fascinating mind sport ever invented is being shown free of charge as part of the Lone Star Regional Bridge Tournament, Feb 3-9. This documentary focuses on both the characters who populate the world of top-level bridge – the Aces – and one that examines the 2015 cheating scandals and aftermath – the Knaves. ACES & KNAVES zooms in on the players, the scandals, and the intense competition inside the fascinating game of bridge—the most complex mind sport ever invented.

Aspiring ace Bill Gates is in the film, as are the best players on the planet, sharing tales of exhilaration and defeat. The film follows the emotional story of the whistleblowers and code breakers who worked thousands of hours to expose two pairs of world-class cheaters, one from Israel and another from Italy.
