Archaeology Now Presents Ancient Games
Children and adults alike will have the opportunity test their game strategy and skill level from around the world and through time as Archaeology Now, the Archaeological Institute of America – Houston Society presents its annual “Ancient Games Tournament.” Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a life-sized Royal Game of Ur, a two-player strategy race board game that was first played in ancient Mesopotamia during the early third millennium BC as well as many other games that span the ages.
