The Bayou Preservation Association Presents 50 for 50 Anniversary Symposium

The Bayou Preservation Association will host its 13th annual symposium on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 8 a.m.-3:15 p.m. at The United Way. Headlining the “50 for 50” anniversary symposium is Jennie Romer, a national expert on carryout bag policy. Romer will highlight challenges and successes with legislation in San Francisco and New York City to manage carry-out bags. The event will conclude with a Q&A session with the guest speakers.
