Blessing of the Animals

Attendees are invited to follow the priests inside the church and circle the altar for a brief liturgy of prayers. Guests return to the courtyard for individual blessing of pets. Also:

• A local veterinarian will offer advice and answer questions
• The Wildlife Rescue Center of the Houston Human Society will have a booth
• A police horse with its partners from HPD will be there for questions and pictures
• Photographers will take photos of you and your pet and will print them out for you to take home
• What to Bring: Collecting pet food, newspapers, paper towels, dish soap, cat litter, bleach, towels, fleece blankets, dog leashes for animal shelters
