Blues, Beer & Barbecue (BBB)

HGI Counseling, in collaboration with the Houston Blues Society, is hosting its 4th Annual Blues, Beer & Barbecue (BBB) event. It is an outdoor affair held in the backyard of a private home. The owner, Jeff Abrams is renowned for hosting house parties featuring notable musicians & artists. Well-known blues musicians play at this event and many local acts join and jam on stage throughout the night. It is a fun time for adults and families. There will also be a silent auction and many raffle prizes. St. Arnold’s brewery will be donating the beer again this year! Approximately 400+ will attend this event on Saturday, April 25 from 6-10 p.m.

HGI is a counseling center, that works with those from all walks of life & economic levels. However, the organization focuses on low-income families & children to help them overcome traumatic life experiences such as rape, abuse of all kinds, violence, neglect, & other horrendous experiences. With counseling, these young people & their families are able to move forward in a healthier way.
