BrainAbouts Presents Inaugural Bingo Bash
BrainAbouts, part of the John Fontaine Jr. Charity, hosts its first-ever Bingo Bash on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 2–5 p.m. at Evelyn’s Park in Bellaire. This festive, family-friendly outdoor event will support the expansion of BrainAbouts in Greater Houston schools.
BrainAbouts, launched in 2020, is a neuroscience-based prevention program that equips youth with the knowledge and skills to make healthier choices and avoid high-risk behaviors. The John Fontaine Jr. Charity was founded after Nancy and Jack Fontaine lost their 16-year-old son, John Jr., in 2000 when he was a passenger killed in an alcohol-related car crash leaving a party.
The event is co-chaired by Libba and Geer Blalock, Annie and Will Richardson, and Braden and Adam Spalding—peers of John Jr. at The Kinkaid School who want to honor his memory by making a difference.
Children with their parents are welcome. Tickets are $50 for adults and $25 for children.
