The John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science invites Houstonians to Cocktails and Conversations: How to Feed a Growing Planet on Thursday, January 16, 2020, from 5-7 pm for an exciting evening with a panel discussion exploring a variety of viewpoints on global food security. Join The Health Museum to hear from local-experts, farmers and those addressing the food crisis. Guests will explore food insecurity on a local level as well as food waste, malnutrition and sustainable solutions to the hunger crisis. Individuals will also learn what they can do to contribute to greater sustainability, urban farming, and alternative protein and food sources.

Guests will be able to enjoy cocktails and sustainable food options during this event.
